Biocherry is located out in Kamre, specifically in Jhiri Gram near Ratu. We are based at Shankar Sahu’s place, right by the Ravi Steel Chowk. It’s a bit of a landmark for folks in this area. We’ve been operating from this spot for some time now. Dealing with pharmaceuticals means a lot of checking and re-checking, which is what we do all day. The area around the steel chowk is always moving, but our office stays pretty focused. It’s not a high-rise building or anything like that. Just a straightforward place where we handle our business affairs. We get our shipments in and make sure they go where they’re supposed to go. Living and working in Kamre has its own pace. We know the local shopkeepers and the people walking by. It feels like home to us. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just work with medicines and try to keep things running smoothly. There’s always something to do, whether it’s answering the phone or sorting out the ledgers. We prefer it this way, keep it simple and keep it local. If you're near Ratu, you've probably seen the turn-off to where we are. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is not always easy with the dust and noise, but it is our place of work and we are proud of it. We like being around here and knowing our neighbors in the village.
