Ascent Tutorial

Ascent Tutorial is based in Ranchi City, and we have been at this location for some time now. Being in the 834001 area means we are right in the heart of everything. The building we are in is older, so the stairs are a little narrow and you have to be careful when two people are trying to pass each other. We have a couple of rooms where the teaching happens. It is mostly just chairs, a table for the teacher, and a big chalkboard that gets very dusty by the end of the day. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that we have to keep on high speed during the summer months. The students come from all over the city. Some walk and others take the bus. We know most of them by name because it is a small operation. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just focus on the lessons and making sure everyone understands what is being taught. Sometimes the noise from the market nearby can be a bit distracting, but the kids are used to it by now. We usually have some water in the corner and a stack of extra paper if anyone forgets theirs. It is a very basic setup, but it works for us and the families who send their children here. We are just here to do a job and help the kids out.
