Anand Tutorial

Anand Tutorial is tucked away in Ranchi City, right in the middle of the 834001 zip code area. It is one of those places that you might miss if you are walking too fast down the street. We started this because there were so many kids in the neighborhood who needed a quiet place to sit and learn after their regular school hours were over. The rooms are a bit small, and we had to squeeze in as many desks as we could while still leaving a path to the door. We don't have any big signs with bright lights. Most people find us because someone else told them we were here. During the exam months, the place is absolutely packed from four in the afternoon until late at night. You can hear the sound of pens scratching on paper and the occasional motorbike zooming by outside. We try to keep the windows open for some air, but then the dust from the Ranchi streets comes in, so it is a bit of a trade-off. The walls are mostly bare except for a few calendars and some old charts that have been there for years. We aren't trying to be a big corporate school or anything like that. We are just local people who know how to explain things in a way that makes sense to the students who live around here. It is simple work, but it keeps us busy and the routine is good.
