Alice Institute Of Technology,Ranchi

We use this space at A3 Fl No 203 in Bhumiraj Woods, Sec-20 Kharghar. It’s a residential building in Navi Mumbai, so it’s much quieter than being in the middle of the city. Even though the institute is named after Ranchi, this Navi Mumbai flat is where we handle a lot of the back-end administrative work. From the balcony, you can sometimes see the hills if the smog isn't too thick. I spend most of my time here answering emails or talking on the phone with staff and students. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a sprawling campus here, just a few rooms converted into an office space. Occasionally, parents or students stop by to drop off documents or ask questions about the technology courses. We usually have a small radio playing some music in the background to keep things from being too silent. Kharghar has these nice wide roads, which makes a change from the cramped streets elsewhere. I usually get my lunch from a small tiffin service nearby. The work is mostly checking through lists and making sure the files are updated correctly. It’s just a couple of us here during the day. We don’t have any big neon signs outside, just our address on the door. It’s a bit of a journey for me to get here, but I like the peaceful atmosphere of the building. We’ve been here for a while now. It feels more like a home than a strict office.
