We are located in Harmu village, which is under the Ranchi taluk. If you are looking for us, we are quite close to the Argora Police Station. Acord Consumer India is what we put on our letterhead, but around here, we are just the local distributors. Ranchi has grown so fast lately, but our corner of Harmu still feels like a village in many ways. We deal with various consumer products that people need for their homes. Our warehouse is a simple structure that keeps the rain out, mostly. We spend a lot of our time loading and unloading trucks that come in from the bigger cities. It’s hard work, especially when it’s monsoon season and the roads get muddy. We don't have any fancy marketing strategies or a big sales team. We just talk to the local shopkeepers and make sure they have what they need on their shelves. It is a very direct way of doing business. Sometimes we run out of stock and have to apologize, and other times we have too much and have to find extra space. We are just regular people trying to provide for our families by being a link in the supply chain. It’s not glamorous, but it is necessary work. We’ve been here for a while and we plan to stay for a lot longer because this is our home and business where we feel comfortable.
