A One Aluminium & Fabrication

The shop is over in the Bariatu area, and if you’re looking for A One Aluminium & Fabrication, you’ll find us right near the main post office. It’s a bit of a cluttered spot because we have so many metal pipes and sheets piled up everywhere. We do a lot of the welding and cutting right here on the floor. It’s noisy and there are usually sparks flying around when someone is working on a gate or a window grill. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks. We’ve got a small crew of guys who have been doing this for years. We don't really have a fancy front office, just a desk with a lot of old bills and a ledger where we keep track of things. Working with fabrication means your hands are always dirty and your clothes get ruined pretty fast. Sometimes a customer comes in with a drawing on a piece of scrap paper and we try to figure out how to make it work. It’s not always easy, especially when the materials don't arrive on time or the weather gets too hot to work comfortably. We just try to get the jobs done as they come in. Bariatu is a nice place to be, and we have many regulars who live just a few streets away. It’s just us doing our thing every day, trying to stay organized in the middle of all the metal.
