Out here in Billermath village, things move a bit slower than they do in the big cities. Our office for Fintola Technologies is located at Parulbala Sarkar’s place. It is a quiet spot, and we like it that way because it helps us concentrate on the technical work we have to do. To get mail or deliveries, everything goes through the Ranaghat post office. We spend our mornings checking emails and getting through the long list of tasks for the day. It is a small operation, mostly just us sitting around a couple of big wooden tables with our laptops and some notebooks. Being in a village means we deal with some different challenges, like the occasional power cut or the internet being a bit finicky when the weather turns bad in the monsoon. But we make it work. Most of the people around here know us as the folks who work on computers all day. We are not trying to be some giant corporation; we are just a local business trying to provide tech services from our corner of the world. The commute isn't bad at all since most of us live close by and can just walk or bike here. We usually wrap up before it gets too dark so everyone can get home for dinner with their families. It is a simple life, and the work keeps us busy enough throughout the week. We do not have any fancy signs out front, just the house and our workspace inside.
