L. I. C. Of India

We are located at A-110 Gangapur in the Avas Vikas Colony, right across from the District Court in Civil Lines. It’s a very busy part of town because of all the lawyers and people going to court, so there are always folks walking around outside. This L. I. C. of India office handles a lot of policy work for the local area. We have desks set up for the agents and a small waiting area for people who come in to pay their premiums or ask about their plans. It’s a standard government-style office with stacks of files, heavy cupboards, and that specific smell of old paper and ink. We spend our days processing forms, updating records, and answering the phone when people call with questions. The ceiling fans are always humming during the summer months to keep the air moving. We know many of the regulars who come in every month to drop off their payments or just check on their accounts. It’s a steady pace here, nothing too fast but never really empty. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when there’s a deadline for a new insurance scheme, but we just get through it one person at a time. The location is convenient for folks who have other business at the court too. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking here, just helping people manage their insurance and making sure the paperwork gets filed correctly.
