Gudiya Plastic

Gudiya Plastic is our little shop located at 148 Meetha Kuan on Rajdwara Road. The name of the area comes from an old well that’s been a part of this neighborhood for as long as anyone can remember. We are right on the main road, so there is a constant stream of cars and rickshaws passing by our front door. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of plastic goods, and sometimes it feels like a bit of a puzzle just to walk through the aisles. We don't have a fancy warehouse, so we use every inch of space we have here. It’s a bit messy at times, especially when a new shipment arrives and we have to find a place for everything. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or have a big marketing budget. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to come in. Most of our customers live right here in the neighborhood and have been buying from us for years. We know their names and what they usually need. It’s a small, honest business and we don't try to pretend to be anything else. We write down our sales in a big ledger and keep track of things the old way. It’s simple, but it works for us and our customers.
