You can find us at 6-321 in Kumukkottai, Poovalathur. Mathibala Earth Movers is just a local setup. We don’t go for anything fancy. Most of our work is right here in the Poovalathur area, helping people with their land. Whether it’s digging a trench or clearing some brush, we just bring the machine over and get started. The area around Kumukkottai has its own challenges with the soil and the weather, but we’ve learned how to deal with it over the years. It’s a small operation, usually just a couple of us handling everything. We don't have a receptionist or a big sign. People just know where we live and where the machines are parked. It’s a lot of manual labor even with the big machines, because there’s always something that needs to be moved by hand or checked. We spend a lot of time cleaning out filters and checking the oil. The noise of the engines is just part of the background of our lives now. We don't try to compete with the big companies in the city. We're happy just working around here and being part of the community. It’s a simple way of making a living, and it suits us just fine. We just hope the machines keep starting up every morning without too much trouble. That’s about all there is to it. We just keep our heads down and keep moving.
