Associated Marmo & Granites Ltd.

We have been out here on N.H. 8 in the village of Pasoond for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot with trucks passing by all day on the highway. We mainly deal with marble and granite here. It is hard work, honestly, moving those big, heavy stones around the yard. The place gets pretty dusty, especially when the wind picks up or when we are cutting, but that is just part of the job. We have seen a lot of people come and go over the years. Some are looking for specific colors or patterns for their house floors, and we show them whatever slabs we have in the yard at that moment. It is not a fancy showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. It is just a practical place where the work gets done. Some days are much busier than others, and it often depends on the season and the weather. If it rains hard, things slow down because the yard gets muddy and it is harder to move the trucks. We just focus on getting the slabs loaded up and sent off to wherever they are supposed to go. It is a straightforward kind of life here in Pasoond. We know the regular drivers and our neighbors. The stone comes from different places, and we keep it all lined up so it is easy to see. It takes a bit of muscle to move things, but we are used to it.
