Vijay Marbles

We are located over in Morchana, right on N. H. 8, and we're pretty close to Ajanta Marble if you know the area. Vijay Marbles has been around for a while now, and we just focus on keeping a decent stock of stone for whoever needs it. The yard stays pretty full of different marble slabs, and we try to keep them organized, though it doesn't always stay that way when things get busy. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't have a big sales team or anything. Usually, it's just us and a couple of workers helping to move the heavy pieces around with the chains. When it rains, the yard gets a bit muddy, but the marble actually looks better when it’s wet because you can see the colors clearly. We spend our time talking to drivers and checking the quality of the blocks that come in. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, and our clothes are usually covered in stone dust by noon. People come by, walk through the rows, and we help them find a slab that fits their budget. There’s no pressure or anything, we just show them what’s available on the lot. It’s a quiet life out here in Morchana, mostly just the sound of the highway and the cranes working. We keep the gates open late if there's a big order to finish.
