Vaibhav Laxmi Marbles

We are located at House 20 in Sukharia Nagar, which is over in the Sreeji Vihar area of Nathdwara. It is not like those big industrial yards you see on the main roads. This is more of a local, neighborhood kind of place. We’ve been operating from here for a good while. Because we are in a more residential-feeling part of town, we have to keep things a bit more organized so we don’t bother the neighbors. It is mostly a family affair. We don’t have a lot of employees or big machines. It’s a lot of manual work, moving the marble and checking the pieces. People from Nathdwara come to us because they know where we are and they know we are just local folks. We spend our mornings talking to customers and maybe having a cup of tea if things are quiet. The roads around here can be a bit narrow, so getting the big slabs in can be a real challenge sometimes. We have to coordinate with the drivers to make sure they don't block the street. It is a quiet way to do business, but it works for us. We don’t do any fancy marketing. We just try to be helpful to whoever comes to House 20. It's a simple life and we have been part of this community for a long time, which means a lot to us. We’ve lived here our whole lives and plan to stay.
