Uttam Marbles

Our place is situated right on N. H. 8 in Pasoond, not too far from Sajjan Marbles. If you are driving along the highway, you can’t really miss the stacks of stone. We spend most of our days out in the yard, looking over the slabs and making sure everything is where it should be. Working with marble is heavy work, and it keeps us on our feet. The weather gets pretty hot out here, but we are used to it by now. We’ve got a variety of pieces sitting around, some big and some small. It’s a simple setup we have here. We don’t have a big fancy showroom with air conditioning; it is mostly just the outdoor space and a small office for the paperwork. People stop by because they are driving past or they know the area well. Pasoond has a lot of stone businesses, so there is always the sound of cranes and trucks moving in the background. We just try to keep things moving and handle the stone with enough care so it doesn't crack. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the highway traffic, which can be a bit frustrating. But usually, we manage to get things out on time. Uttam Marbles has been part of this stretch of road for a while. It’s just us doing the daily tasks, checking the quality of the blocks, and talking to the drivers who come and go. We stay busy every day.
