We are set up out on N.H.-08 on Tasol Road, in the village of Pasoond. Being right on the national highway means we get a lot of trucks coming and going. Jagdish Marble & Granites Pvt. Ltd. has a decent-sized yard here. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement. We deal with both marble and granite, so there’s always something different to look at. The granite is much harder to work with than the marble, and it takes a bit more effort. We’ve got the heavy cranes to move the big blocks around because doing it by hand would be impossible. The village is a quiet place otherwise, but our yard is always buzzing. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and air conditioning. It’s mostly just the open air and the stone. If you want to see what we have, you just walk around the piles with us. We get a bit of every kind of weather out here on the highway. Sometimes the wind picks up and blows the dust everywhere. We just wear our masks and keep working. It’s a straightforward business. We provide the stone, people pay for it, and we help them load it up. There’s no need for any complicated sales pitches or anything like that. We just let the stone speak for itself. The guys here have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to get things done. It’s just about getting the orders ready on time and keeping the yard organized.
