Stonics Marble

Stonics Marble is located out on N. H. 8 in the Bhagwanda area. Like many places along this stretch of highway, we are surrounded by stone and dust. Our yard is where we spend nearly all of our time. We have rows and rows of marble slabs that we've brought in. Each one is heavy and requires a lot of care to move without causing any damage. The highway is always humming with the sound of trucks carrying goods across the state. We don't have a fancy showroom; we just have our slabs laid out so people can see the real thing. It gets very hot in Bhagwanda during the peak of summer, so we tend to take a longer break in the middle of the day. The work is mostly about lifting, shifting, and organizing. Your clothes never stay clean for long in this line of work, but that’s just part of it. We are a small group of people who just get on with the job. There aren't any big speeches or complex missions here. We just handle the marble and try to keep the yard in some kind of order. Sometimes the wind picks up and blows the sand around, but we just keep working through it. We've been at this N.H. 8 location for a while now and have seen many businesses come and go. For us, it’s just about the daily task of managing the stone and keeping things moving.
