Soni Marble

We have been running Soni Marble for quite a few years now. Our shop is located right on N.H. 8, just by the Bus Stand in Piparda. Being so close to the highway means we see a lot of people passing through. Most of our days are spent out in the yard moving heavy stone slabs around. It is hard work and the sun can be really hot out here. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a practical place where we keep our stock and talk to people who need stone for their houses. Sometimes the trucks arrive late at night and we have to get up early to unload them. Piparda is a quiet enough place but the traffic on N.H. 8 keeps things moving. We deal with a lot of local folks and some from further away. If you stop by the bus stand you will probably see our sign. We try to keep things simple here. There is always dust on everything but that is part of the job when you work with marble. We have a small crew and we all know each other well. My cousin helps out with the loading sometimes when it gets busy. We just focus on getting the slabs cut and ready for whoever needs them. It is not a complicated business. We just stay here at the same spot on the highway day after day. It is just life for us.
