Shree Shyam Granites

Down in Village Kareda, that’s where you’ll find Shree Shyam Granites. We are right near the Amet Kelwa Road in the Amet Taluka. It’s a rural area, and we like it that way. The air is a bit clearer than the city, even if the work is just as dusty. We work with the granite that comes from the nearby hills. It’s a rugged landscape and the stone reflects that. My family has been around this area for generations. We started this place because stone is what the land provides here. Every morning, the workers walk in from the village and we get the saws going. It’s a noisy business, but you get used to the hum of the blades after a while. We don't have a website or a marketing person. People usually just hear about us through word of mouth in the local markets. If someone needs a truckload of granite, they come by the yard and we talk it over. We show them what we’ve cut recently. Sometimes we have a nice shade of grey or pink available. Life moves at a bit of a slower pace here compared to the big towns, but we still work hard from sunrise to sunset. It’s just how things are done in Kareda. We keep our overhead low and our focus on the material.
