About Shree Sai Marble – Building & Construction Material in Rajsamand
Shree Sai Marble is located right on N.H.8, near the Piparada Chuni Naka. It is a noisy place because of all the traffic on the highway, but we are used to it by now. The yard is usually full of slabs that we get from the nearby mines. We spend a lot of time just walking around the rows of stone, checking for cracks or making sure everything is lined up right. Sometimes the sun is really beating down on the white marble and it gets hard to see, so we wear hats and try to stay in the shade of the bigger blocks. We are a small team. Most of us have lived around here our whole lives, so we know the area well. We don't do much advertising or anything like that. Mostly, people just see our sign from the road and pull their trucks in to see what we have got. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting and shifting things. My hands are always rough from the stone, but it’s honest work. We have a small shed where we keep our tools and some water for whoever stops by. We try to keep things organized, but in a marble yard, there is always a bit of a mess with the scrap pieces and the dirt. It’s just how the business goes on N.H.8. We stay open until it gets dark and then we head home to rest for the next day.
