About Shree Nakoda Parshwanath Marble – Building & Construction Material in Rajsamand
Out here on N. H. 8 in Badarda, it’s mostly just stone and highway noise. That is where we set up Shree Nakoda Parshwanath Marble. Being right on the national highway makes it easy for the big trucks to get in and out, which is the main thing we care about. We spend the day moving marble slabs around the yard. Some of the stone is really heavy, so we use the cranes a lot. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear nice clothes because of all the white dust that gets on everything. My family and a few workers handle the daily stuff. We look at the patterns in the stone and try to sort them so they match up okay. Sometimes the weather is dry and the dust is everywhere, and other times it’s raining and the yard gets muddy. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most people just pull over when they see the slabs lined up along the road. It’s straightforward work. We buy the blocks, cut them up, and sell them to whoever is building a house or a shop. Badarda isn’t a huge place, but because we are on the highway, we see a lot of different faces every week. We’ve been doing this for a long time now. It’s just how we make our living, surrounded by rock and the sound of traffic going by.
