Shree Mateshwari Stone

Our place, Shree Mateshwari Stone, is located on the Rajsamand Railway Station Road. We are pretty easy to find since we are right near the Tyre Godown. That is usually how people find their way to us. Being near the station means there is always something going on. We have been working with stone here for quite some time. It is a lot of manual labor, loading and unloading the trucks that come through. We don't have a slick sales team. It is usually just us out here in the yard. We get quite a bit of dust from the road and the cutting, but you get used to it. People from around Rajsamand come to us when they are fixing up their houses or starting a new building. We just show them what we have in the piles. Sometimes the stock changes fast, sometimes it sits for a bit. We try to keep a variety so there is something for everyone. The Tyre Godown is a good neighbor to have because everyone knows where it is. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot to move the heavy slabs. It is a simple life, working with our hands and dealing with the locals. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to keep the business going steady. If you are near the railway station, you can stop in and see us and look at the slabs we have.
