Shree Mahesh Marble

We are located right on N. H. 8 in Badarda. Being on the national highway means we see a lot of people passing through, and the air is always full of the sound of long-distance trucks. At Shree Mahesh Marble, the yard is our main office. We have piles of marble stacked up, some of it polished and some of it still rough. We spend most of our time walking between the rows, checking on the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. It is a very open space, so we are at the mercy of the weather. When it rains, we scramble to cover things, and when it is hot, we look for any bit of shade we can find near the slabs. We don't have a polished showroom with air conditioning. It is just us and the stone. We do a lot of heavy lifting and manual labor every day. Sometimes we have to move twenty slabs just to get to the one at the back that someone wants to see. It is a tiring job, but there is something nice about working with your hands. We just try to be helpful when someone pulls their car over to take a look. We show them what we have, tell them the price, and go from there. It is a simple way of doing things here in Badarda, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
