About Shree Dwarika Marble – Building & Construction Material in Rajsamand
Shree Dwarika Marble is located in Piparda village, right along N. H. 8. Being in a village setting while also being on a major highway gives us a unique perspective. We see the local farmers going about their day while the big interstate trucks roar past our gate. Our yard is usually full of marble that we’ve brought in for processing. It’s a dusty business, especially when the wind picks up across the open fields. We don't have a big staff. It's mostly just a few of us who have been doing this for a long time. We know the stones and we know the area. Piparda is a quiet place once you get away from the road noise. We spend our time checking the edges of the slabs and making sure they are stored correctly so they don't chip. There’s no mission statement on our wall, just a calendar and some old tools. We talk to the locals who are building their homes and we also deal with people passing through. The sun can be brutal in the middle of the day, so we start early in the morning to get the heavy work done. It’s a basic way of living but it works for us. We've been here long enough that people know us by name. It’s just how things are around here in the village. Most evenings we sit by the gate and watch the sunset before heading home.
