Shree Bala Ji Marble & Suppliers

Our place, Shree Bala Ji Marble & Suppliers, is right on Nathdwara Road, near the bus stand in Piparda. Being on N. H. 8 means there is always noise from the traffic. It’s a good spot though because everyone knows the Piparda bus stand. We deal with marble and other supplies that people need for their floors. It isn't a glamorous job. Most of the time we are covered in white dust from the slabs. We started out small and just stayed in this same area. The yard gets pretty hot during the summer months but the work has to get done. We watch the buses go by all day long while we load up the trucks. It’s mostly just us and a few workers moving things around. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. People just see the stone stacked up and they pull over. We talk to the contractors and the homeowners who are trying to figure out their budgets. Dealing with stone is hard on the back but it's what we know. My brother and I usually handle the daily stuff. If you are coming from Nathdwara, you can't miss us before you hit the main town area. We keep things simple here. No fancy brochures, just the material sitting out in the open. That is how we have always done it in Piparda. Some days the wind blows hard and we just have to wait for it to settle before we can see clearly.
