Shree Amar Marble

Down here in Kishore Nagar, things are a bit quieter than the main industrial hubs. Shree Amar Marble is a small setup, mostly serving the families who are building their homes nearby. I remember when this whole area had fewer buildings and more open ground. Now, there are houses going up everywhere, which keeps us pretty busy. We don't carry every single type of stone in the world, just the ones we know work well for local floors and kitchens. It is a family thing for us. My brother helps with the loading and I stay in the small cabin to handle the accounts. The yard gets a bit muddy when it rains because the drainage isn't the best, but we manage. We’ve had the same workers for years, and they know how to handle the heavy pieces without making a mess. We don't have a website or any of those modern things. If someone wants to see what we have, they just walk in and look around. We usually have a pot of tea going in the morning if you want a cup. It is a basic business. We get the stone from the trucks, we stack it up, and we wait for someone who needs it. There isn't much more to it than that, really. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
