Saraswati Marble & Granites

Saraswati Marble & Granites is based out of Kakrod. The village and post office are right here. We are in Deogarh Taluka, specifically in the Deogarh Madaria area. One of the best ways to find us is to look for the railway station. We are very close to it. You can hear the trains pulling in and out all day long. It’s a busy sound that matches the work we do with the marble and granites. The slabs of stone are heavy and we spend a lot of time moving them around the yard. Deogarh is a place where people value good material for their homes. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It's mostly just the yard and a small space for paperwork. The dust from the granite is everywhere, but that’s just part of the job in Kakrod. Sometimes we sit by the gate and watch the people going toward the railway station. It’s a simple life. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just have the stone and the tools to handle it. People from the district come by because they know we've been here for a while. The sun beats down on the marble slabs, making them hot to the touch in the afternoon. We just keep working through it. That’s how Saraswati Marble & Granites operates. We don't need much more than the stone and the station nearby.
