Rathi Marbles

Rathi Marbles is situated in Rajsamand on N H-8, specifically around the Karjiya Ghati area. If you know the highway, you know the climb and the turns near the ghati. Our location is right there where the landscape starts to change. We have been here for years, watching the traffic go by on the way to the city. The marble business is the lifeblood of Rajsamand, and we are just one small part of it. We have a variety of stones that come from the local mines nearby. Every morning we open up and start moving things around with the crane. It is a slow process because you have to be careful with the edges. We do not have an office staff or a reception desk. Usually, if you want to talk to us, you just find us in the yard with a tape measure in hand. We speak simply and do not try to make things sound better than they are. Natural stone has its flaws and that is just part of the beauty. We spend a lot of time just cleaning the dust off the slabs so people can see the grain. It gets very hot out here on the highway, especially with the sun reflecting off the white stone. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is what our family has always done for generations. We take pride in just being here every single day.
