Rajhans Marmo & Mines (P) Ltd.

We’ve been running Rajhans Marmo & Mines (P) Ltd. out here on Kelwa-Amet Road for a while now. Most people know the spot in Baman Tukda. It’s a busy area and there is always something going on with the machines or the trucks coming in. Dealing with stone means we spend a lot of time outdoors and in the yard. It is hard work. My family has lived around here for years, so we know the roads and the neighbors quite well. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that is just part of the business when you handle marble. We open up early, usually when the sun is just coming up, and stay until the work is finished for the day. Baman Tukda has changed some over time, but the way we handle the stone stays pretty much the same. We have a crew that has been with us for a long time. They know how to move the blocks without making a mess of things. It is not fancy here, just a regular workplace with plenty of heavy lifting. People stop by to look at what we have in stock and we just show them around the yard. There isn't much to it besides that. We just try to get the orders ready and loaded onto the trucks so they can get where they need to go. If you are driving down Kelwa-Amet Road, you will see us there.
