Rajaram Marbles & Granite

Being out in Rajsamand Badarda means we are right in the thick of the stone business. At Rajaram Marbles & Granite we deal with blocks and slabs all day long in the open air. It is a gritty job and you can always hear the sound of machines or trucks in the distance. We have a lot of different granite and marble pieces spread out and we spend a good chunk of our day just moving things around to make space for new arrivals. The ground is usually covered in white dust and our clothes end up the same way by the evening. We don't really have a scripted way of doing things here we just take the day as it comes. When a customer arrives we just walk through the rows of stone and look at what is available. Some pieces have better veins or colors than others but they all have their place. Rajsamand is a tough place to work because of the heat but we have been doing this long enough that it doesn't bother us much anymore. We take pride in just being a local spot where you can see the material up close. It is hard work but it is honest and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset every day. Sometimes we have a cup of tea between loading trucks and just talk about the weather and the day's work.
