Raj Marble

We are set up right on National Highway 8 in Pasoond. Being on the highway means we see a lot of traffic and people stopping by while they’re traveling between the bigger cities. It’s a convenient spot for truckers and builders who are moving materials along the main route. We’ve been here for a while now, and the place has grown bit by bit over the years. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s more of a practical yard where the marble is the main focus. We spend our days moving slabs with the crane and making sure everything is stacked safely. It’s a lot of manual labor, and we’re usually covered in white stone dust by the afternoon. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just us and a few helpers getting the orders ready. People stop in, look at the marble, and we tell them what we have in stock. There’s no pressure or fancy talk. If someone likes a piece, we figure out how to get it to them. The noise from the highway is something you just get used to after a week or so of working here. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes. We don’t really do much advertising because the location on N.H. 8 does most of the work for us. Most people just pull over when they see something they like in the yard. We’re just regular people trying to run a decent business and get through the day.
