Our business, Poonam Marble Pvt. Ltd., is located on the Siyana Amet Kelwa Road. This area is famous for its stone, so we are right in the middle of everything. It is a long road with a lot of dust and trucks, but it is where the work is. We deal mostly in marble. The slabs come in from the quarries nearby, and we get them sorted and ready. It is a tough environment, especially when it is hot outside, but we are used to it. We have a big open area where we keep the rows of marble. We don't have a polished showroom with fancy lights. If you want to see the stone, you have to walk through the yard with us. We use a bit of water to show how the colors look when they are wet. It is a very hands-on process. We are not corporate people. We are just folks who know how to cut and move marble. My uncle started this place years ago, and we have just kept the gates open. We don't promise anything we cannot do. We just look at the stone, agree on a price, and get it loaded up. It is the same way we have done it for years on Kelwa Road. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the orders.
