Nutan Sangmarmar Pvt. Ltd.

Our company, Nutan Sangmarmar Pvt. Ltd., is situated on the Kelwa-Amet Road in Raghunath Pura. It's a bit away from the main city noise, which is nice. We deal with sangmarmar, or marble, as most people call it. We have a fairly large space where we store the blocks after they come from the mines. We have been here for a good number of years. It’s a family-run operation even though we have "Pvt. Ltd." in the name. We just thought it sounded more official when we registered it. Most of the time, it's just us and a few workers handling the heavy lifting. The road outside can get a bit bumpy with all the stone trucks going back and forth. We see a lot of the same faces every week. People from the nearby villages and towns come to us when they are building something new. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights. You just see the marble as it is, under the sun. We try to keep a good stock so people have choices. My son helps with the accounts now and I handle the daily operations. We aren't looking to expand into some giant company. We just want to keep doing what we know. It is a simple business, really. We cut the stone, we sell the stone, and we try to do it right. Nothing more to it.
