Nidhi Marble & Granites

We are located at number 8 in Pasoond Village, which is in the Rajsamand area. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main city, but this is where the real work happens. Nidhi Marble & Granites is right in the thick of the quarry region. You can hear the sounds of the mines and the heavy machinery pretty much all day long. It’s not a quiet place to work, but it feels right for what we do. We have been here in the village for a long time, and most of the people working here are from around the area. It’s a local operation through and through. We don't have any corporate offices or polished floors. The ground is usually covered in stone scraps and dust. We deal mostly with marble and granite blocks that come straight from the earth nearby. Every piece of stone is different, so we spend a lot of time looking at patterns and cracks. It’s not something you can learn from a book; you just have to see enough of it over the years. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy setup. We just want to move our stock and keep the business going for another year. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, but we push through. It’s just the way life is out here in Pasoond. We keep things simple and honest with everyone who stops by our small yard.
