About Nav Durga Marbles – Building & Construction Material in Rajsamand
If you head to Hanumaan-Chowk in the village of Badarda, you’ll find us at Ganpati-Niwas. Nav Durga Marbles is a local operation, and we’ve been part of this village for a long time. Our space is filled with marble and tiles that we’ve collected from different places. It’s a bit quieter here than in the big industrial zones, but we still have our busy hours when the local builders come by to pick out materials for new houses. The yard is open to the air, so we are always cleaning the leaves and dirt off the stone. We don't have fancy displays or air-conditioned showrooms. We just lean the slabs against the walls and let people walk through to see the natural colors. Sometimes we sit outside near the chowk and talk to the neighbors while waiting for a delivery truck to arrive. It’s a slow and steady kind of life in Badarda. We know most of the people who walk through our gates. Dealing with marble means we have to be careful with how we handle the stock, especially the thinner tiles that break easily if you aren't paying attention. We keep a small crew, and everyone knows how to do a bit of everything, from loading the trolleys to keeping the accounts in order. It’s just a regular village business trying to keep things moving day by day without making too much of a fuss. We enjoy the pace of things here.
