Nakoda Bhairavnath Marbles

Our place is out in Mokhampura, Rajsamand. It’s a good location if you’re already in the area looking for stone. We’ve been working with marble for a long time, and the yard here is where we spend most of our hours. It’s not a quiet job, there’s always the sound of machinery or trucks coming in from the quarries. We have a few guys who help with the loading and keeping things tidy. Most days start early before the sun gets too high. We keep a variety of blocks and slabs around, whatever we can get our hands on that looks decent. Some days are slower than others, but there’s always something to move or clean. Mokhampura has a lot of history with stone, and we’re just one small part of that. We don't really do much advertising; people mostly find us because they know the area or someone told them to stop by. The office is small, just enough space for a desk and some tea for guests. It gets dusty, especially when the wind picks up across the open lots. We just try to get the orders right and get the trucks on their way. If you’re driving through Rajsamand, you’ll likely pass near us. We aren't big on talk, we just focus on the stone and making sure it gets where it needs to go. Sometimes the rain slows us down, but that’s just life here. There is always a lot to do.
