Meenakshi Marble

We’re located over in Rajnagar on N.H. 8, right near the Seewali Octroi Choki. It’s a spot that most local drivers know well because of the old check post that used to be there. We’ve been operating here for years, dealing with all kinds of marble slabs. The business is pretty straightforward for us. We get the stone, we sort it, and we sell it to whoever needs it for their project. There isn't any fancy marketing going on here. We don't even have a proper office; mostly we just sit in the shade near the stacks and talk to customers when they pull in from the road. The dust from the highway and the stone cutting is just part of the daily routine for everyone here. We have a small group of workers who handle the heavy lifting. They’ve been with us through many seasons and know how to handle the slabs without breaking them. We try to keep a good variety of stuff, but it depends on what we can get from the local quarries at the time. Sometimes we have exactly what someone wants, and other times they have to wait a few days for the next truck to arrive. We don't try to act like a big company. We're just a local business on the side of the road. People come to us because we’re easy to find and we’ve been here long enough that they know who we are. It’s a simple life, focused on the stone and the daily work.
