Mahesh Granite

We have been working out of F 220 in the Riico Industrial Area for quite some time now. If you know where R K Hospital is in Dhoinda, we are just right behind that building. Rajsamand is full of stone businesses but we just stay here and do our own thing with the granite slabs. The yard is usually full of blocks and it gets pretty dusty when the saws are going. We start our day early, usually around seven, to get a jump on the heat. It’s mostly just us and a few workers moving things around with the crane. Dealing with granite is tough on the back but it is what we know. People come by looking for stuff for their houses or bigger projects. We don't do much talking, mostly just showing them what we have in stock at the moment. The location is good because the trucks can get in from the main road easily enough, though it gets crowded near the hospital entrance sometimes. It's a simple setup we have here. No big signs or fancy reception areas. Just the stone and the tools. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait it out with some chai. That is just how life goes in this part of Rajsamand. We keep the machines maintained and try to get the orders done as they come in. It is hard work but it pays the bills.
