Lovely Marble

Lovely Marble is located in Village-Kelwa, with the post office also being Kelwa. We are right on NH-8, specifically near the Kelwa Chopati area. Being near the highway means there’s a constant flow of trucks and travelers passing by our front gate. The area around Kelwa Chopati is always active, and we fit right into that local scene. We have a lot of space for our marble since we're a bit further out from the big cities. The slabs are kept in long rows where the sun can hit them. Sometimes the wind off the highway blows a lot of dirt onto the stone, so we spend time hosing them down so the patterns show up clearly. The office is just a simple room where we keep our ledgers and sit out of the wind. We don't use any big marketing words. We are just people who know about marble and have been working with it here on NH-8 for a good long time. It can be a long day when we have many loads coming in from the quarries, but we like the pace of it. If you're driving through Kelwa, you can't really miss us near the Chopati. It’s just a local shop doing what we do. We usually finish up the day by making sure the gates are locked tight and checking the stock one last time before it gets too dark to see.
