Out here in Madariya Village, things are a bit slower than in the big cities. We are located in the Deogarh Tehsil area, not too far from Sojat Road. At Lakshya Tiles Co., we work with the local stone and tiles that people need for their homes in the Rajsamand District. The yard is quite big because we need space for the trucks to turn around. You’ll find us mostly outside, checking the inventory or helping load up a tractor-trolley. It’s a rural setting, so we know most of our customers by name. They come from the nearby villages. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just open the gates in the morning and wait for people to stop by. Sometimes the wind blows the red dust everywhere, and we have to hose down the slabs so people can see the colors properly. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy. We take our lunch under the shade of the small office roof. We’ve been here for a while and don’t plan on changing much. The road gets busy with people heading towards Sojat, but our corner remains pretty grounded. If you come by, you’ll probably see us moving some crates or sitting on a bench talking to a neighbor. It’s just a local tile yard run by local people who understand what the builders around here are looking for.
