Krishna Granite

If you're heading down the Kelwa Amet Road, you'll see us right across from the Amet Government Hospital. It’s a pretty central spot in the Amet Taluka, so we get a lot of people passing by on their way to other things. The road can get pretty dusty, especially when the tractors and trucks go by. We spend a lot of our time out in the open, checking on the stock. It’s mostly granite here, and we have it stacked up in rows. Some days, the hospital across the way is very busy, and we just watch the world go by from our front gate. We don't have any big sales pitches or anything like that. We just show people what we have and let them decide. The sun gets quite strong in the afternoon, so we usually try to get the heavy loading done early in the day. It’s a straightforward business. We know the local guys who do the installations around here. Sometimes we sit on some old slabs and have a break when it’s too hot to move. It’s just a regular part of life on the Kelwa Amet Road. We’ve been here long enough that most people know where we are. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done and we’re used to the grit and the noise of the road. We just try to make sure our granite slabs are lined up well so people can see the patterns. That's about all there is to it.
