Keshav Marble

Our office is up on the 7th floor of the Ashirwad Complex in Nathdwara. It is a bit different from having a big open yard right on the street, but this is where we handle all the paperwork and meet people. Nathdwara is a busy place with all the visitors, so the complex stays active. We deal with marble, which is what this whole region is known for. Even though the office is in a building, we are always connected to the quarries and the places where the stone is cut. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who come up to see us. It’s a lot of coordination. You have to make sure the right slabs are going to the right person at the right time. Being on the 7th floor, we have a bit of a view, but our minds are usually on the ground with the inventory. We don't use big words or fancy brochures. People know what they want when it comes to marble. They look for stuff that isn't cracked and has a nice pattern. We’ve been in this building for a while now. It’s a steady business. Most of our days are spent checking orders and making sure the transport is sorted out. It’s a lot of small details that people don’t see. We just keep things moving and try to be honest with everyone who walks through the door. It’s just how we work.
