We've been out here on Kelwa-Amet Road for quite a while now. Siyana is where we do most of our work with the marble blocks. It’s a dusty place, honestly, but that’s just the nature of the stone business. I am one of the folks here at K. K. Marble Pvt. Ltd., and we mostly spend our days looking at slabs and making sure the cuts are okay. It isn't fancy work. We get the stone in, we process it, and then it goes out to whoever needs it for their floors or walls. Sometimes the machines act up or the weather gets too hot to stay outside long, but we keep at it. People from around Siyana know where to find us. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. Just the yard and the equipment. We started small and just stayed around this area because it makes sense for the transport. If you come by, you’ll see the piles of stone everywhere. It’s heavy work. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so we know what a good piece of marble looks like versus one that’s going to crack. We don't do much talking, mostly just heavy lifting and cutting. The road out here gets busy with trucks, especially in the mornings. It's just a regular local spot where we deal with what the ground gives us. Nothing more to it than that, really.
