About Indian Marble & Tiles – Building & Construction Material in Rajsamand
We are set up right on N. H. 8 in Badarda, so we see thousands of cars and trucks fly by every single day. The road noise is constant, but you get used to it after the first week. We carry both marble and tiles because that’s what people around here seem to need most. The shop is basically a large open area where we keep all the stock organized by size and color. It gets pretty dusty being so close to the highway, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down so people can actually see the patterns. We don't have a team of salesmen in suits. It’s just us and a few guys who help with the heavy lifting. We spend our mornings checking what came in the night before and our afternoons loading up orders for local builders. Sometimes people pull off the highway just because they saw the signs, and they end up staying for an hour looking at different tile samples. We don't mind; it's part of the job. The stone business is mostly about patience—waiting for the right materials and then waiting for the trucks to show up. We keep a pot of tea going most of the day for whenever someone drops by. It's a straightforward life, working with our hands and dealing with the materials that go into making people's homes look decent. There is no magic to it, just keeping the inventory moving.
