Heera Marble & Granites Pvt. Ltd. is our place in Pasoond. We are on N.H. 8, right near the Morchna Naher. Having the canal nearby is nice, though we are still mostly dealing with the heat and the dust of the highway. Our yard has both marble and granites, and we keep them in large stacks that we move around with the heavy machinery. It is a physical life, and we spend most of our time on our feet. The stone is beautiful, but it is also very heavy and dangerous if you aren't careful. We check every slab that comes in to see how the pattern looks. Being in Pasoond, we are part of a whole stretch of stone yards. The highway brings in all the trucks, and there is always someone loading up or dropping off a new batch of stone. We don't have a lot of corporate talk here. We just work the yard and talk to the people who stop by. The slabs sit out in the sun, and we wash them down when someone wants to see the true color. It’s a lot of routine, from opening up in the morning to locking the gate at night. The noise of the water in the naher is a nice change from the trucks on the N.H. 8. We just keep at it, one slab at a time.
