G. K. Marble Traders

G. K. Marble Traders is located right at Karjia Ghati on N. H. 8, not too far from Nathdwara. It’s a busy spot with lots of vehicles passing by. We spend our days out in the yard, mostly looking at the different blocks and slabs we have brought in. The terrain here has its own character and the weather can be a bit unpredictable. When it rains, the stone looks different, darker and shinier. We have a small shack where we keep our logs and take our lunch breaks. Dealing with marble is what we know. It’s heavy, it’s cold, and it takes a lot of effort to move even one piece. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things run okay. People coming toward Nathdwara often stop in just to see what kind of stone is available these days. We don't try to push anyone into buying. We just show them the pieces, point out the patterns, and let them decide. The dust gets into everything, your hair, your shoes, the office computer. That’s just how it is when you work with stone all your life. It's honest work and we've been at this spot long enough to know most of the drivers who come through. We keep the gate open from morning till evening, seeing who stops by and chatting about the weather or the state of the road.
