Dhartidhan Marble Pvt. Ltd. is located in Village Tanvan in the Amet tehsil. We are surrounded by the kind of landscape where stone is a big part of life. Our place is more of a working yard than a shop. We have large blocks and slabs of marble sitting out in the open. The work is loud and can be quite messy with all the cutting and moving of heavy materials. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning; we mostly spend our time outside or in the shed where the stones are kept. People who come to see us are usually looking for bulk material or something specific for a big project. We don't go in for much talk. We show people what we have, tell them the price, and go from there. Some days the yard is a mess of mud and stone dust, especially when it rains, but that's just part of the job. We have been doing this for a while and we understand how the marble looks once it is polished up, even if it looks a bit rough when it is just sitting in the yard. It is a simple, honest way to make a living, working with the earth's materials right here in Tanvan. We keep our heads down and just make sure the stone we sell is what people are expecting to get.
