Bhole Shankar Kissan Marble

We’re located out on Kelwa Amet Road in the Devpura area. Bhole Shankar Kissan Marble is basically a roadside operation where we keep all our stone. Being on the road between Kelwa and Amet means we see a lot of traffic passing by, mostly trucks and local farmers. It’s a pretty open area, so the wind can pick up and blow the marble dust everywhere. We have a lot of space out here, which is good for laying out the larger blocks. There’s no air conditioning or fancy lobby here. We spend our days outside or in a small shed we use for shade. It’s a simple setup. We focus on getting the marble ready and loaded onto the trucks. Some days are slow and we just sit by the road, and other days are a total rush with everyone wanting their orders at once. Devpura is a quiet enough place most of the time. We’ve got the hills in the distance and plenty of room to move around. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and getting our hands dirty. We don't put on any acts. If you come by, you’ll just see us working in our gear, probably covered in some grit. It’s honest work and the stone looks right, which is what matters at the end of the day. We are just a group of people working hard out on the road.
