About Bhandari Marble Centre – Building & Construction Material in Rajsamand
If you are driving down N.H.8, you will see us right across from where Akashganga Motors sits in Bhagwanda. The highway is always busy, so there is a constant hum of traffic while we work at Bhandari Marble Centre. It gets pretty loud, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We have been here long enough that the local truck drivers know us by name. The yard is filled with slabs we brought in from the local mines. Some are better than others, but that is just how natural stone works. You never quite know what the pattern will look like until you wash the dust off. I spend a lot of my time with a water hose just cleaning the faces of the marble so people can see the real color. It is a messy job, and my boots are usually wet by noon. We don't have any fancy air conditioning in the office, just a ceiling fan that makes a bit of a clicking sound. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. People pull off the highway, look at a few blocks, talk about the price for a bit, and then we figure out how to get it to their site. We don't use big words or try to act like we are some huge corporation. We are just here on the side of the road with some stone and a couple of guys to help lift it.
