Balaji Stone

Balaji Stone is set up right on National Highway No. 8 in Village Passond. Being on the highway means we get a lot of trucks and travelers stopping by. Our yard is big and open, which is good because we handle some very large pieces of stone. It is a noisy place with the highway traffic and the machines we use to move the heavy stuff. We don't have any polished sales staff. Usually, it is just someone in work clothes coming out to meet you. We keep a lot of different stones out in the sun so people can see how they really look in the daylight. The wind blows a lot of dust around, so we are always wiping things down so the colors show through. It is a practical business. We get the stone in, we stack it up, and we sell it to whoever needs it for their building. There isn't much more to it than that. Some people are just passing through and stop out of curiosity, while others come specifically because they know we are right here on the NH8. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized in the middle of all the highway hustle. It is a lot of hard work under the sun, but we have got a good system going for everyone who visits the yard.
