Ashok Marble Trading

At Ashok Marble Trading, we spend our days at our yard in Piparda. We are located right along N. H. 8, which is basically the lifeblood of the marble trade in this region. If you drive through Piparda, you will see us there with all the other stone yards. We do a lot of trading, which means things are always coming in and going out on trucks. It can be a bit chaotic when three trucks show up at the same time and we only have so much space to move. We don’t have any fancy corporate offices. It’s just us, the marble, and the highway. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs and watch the traffic while we wait for the next delivery. The weather around here can be tough, either very hot or quite dusty, so we just manage as best as we can. We have been doing this for a long time now. We know the stones and we know the roads. It is a very honest way to make a living. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just trade the marble and keep the business moving along. Piparda is a good place for it because everyone knows to come here for stone. We just keep our stock ready and wait for the phone to ring or a customer to pull over. It’s a steady job that keeps us busy every day.
